Our cancer program has earned a three-year Approval Award with Commendation from the Commission on Cancer, with an overall rating of "1" in the Community Hospital Cancer program category. Only one in four hospitals nationwide that treat patients with cancer receive approval from the Commission.

The Cancer Committee at Southern New Hampshire Health System (SNHHS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care. Committee members represent diverse medical and surgical disciplines, such as oncology, surgery, pathology, radiology, gastroenterology, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, physical therapy, nutrition, and nursing. Through our relationships with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cancer Center and our affiliated medical practice, Foundation Hematology/Oncology, clinical teams combine experience, skills and resources to offer the latest treatments and technologies. Board certified oncologists, surgeons, nurses, cancer care coordinators, and other qualified professionals provide compassionate care for the body, mind and spirit, designed to fit your unique needs. When you need it most, you have quick access to specialty surgeons and oncologists at MGH Cancer Center, part of the largest cancer research consortium in the country.

Advanced technological resources, such as our on-site 64-slice CT and PET scanners and two MRIs, assist in detecting cancer and making accurate diagnoses. Chemotherapy in our Infusion Suite, radiation therapy at the nearby Nashua Regional Cancer Center, and community-based hospice and support services are also conveniently local resources.
