As part of your comprehensive cancer care, Foundation Hematology/Oncology offers clinical expertise and the most up-to-date treatments in our newly renovated infusion suite. Comfortable lounge chairs, televisions with individual headsets, WiFi access, a patient resource library and education center, and a refreshment center help to make your visits with us as stress-free as possible. An onsite pharmacist works hand-in-hand with our providers and nurses to ensure timely administration of your chemotherapy drugs.
A highly trained team of oncology certified and/or chemotherapy certified infusion nurses specialize in administering chemotherapy, hydration, medication infusions, injections and other treatments in this outpatient setting. Our patients include:
- Cancer care patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive services
- Patients with blood disorders
- Patients requiring intravenous antibiotics.
Some of the many services and treatments we provide on an outpatient basis include:
- IV antibiotic therapy
- Central line/PICC catheter maintenance
- Chemotherapy
- Hydration therapy
- Injection services
- Medication Infusions
- Therapeutic phlebotomy.
