For patients who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have limited vision, The Medical Center will obtain sign language or other interpreters or Personal Readers if needed.

NexTalk, a remote video interpreting system for American sign language is readily available throughout the hospital. Auxiliary devices available to meet your needs include Pocket Talker Personal amplifiers, magnifying sheets, Closed Caption Television, Teletypewriter (TTY) equipment and a public videophone.
