Wound Care Program

Our comprehensive outpatient would care program is designed to meet your individual needs, including diabetic, surgical, trauma, peripheral vascular disease, burns, pressure ulcers, lymphedema, or chronic wounds. Our team of skilled physical therapists offers the following services:
  • Diabetic foot screening: for diabetic patients with or without wounds to determine risk categories, aid in wound prevention, and initiate treatment.
  • Pulsatile lavage with suction: a method of hydrotherapy which provides cleansing and debridement with pulsed irrigation.
  • Autolytic debridement: promotes the body's natural ability to breakdown necrotic tissue with various dressing options.
  • Mechanical and sharp debridement: through the use of dressings and instruments.
  • Enzymatic debridement: use of enzymes to soften debris without affecting viable tissue.
  • Ultrasound and electrical stimulation: traditional therapy modalities used to aid in debridement and promote healing.
  • Compression therapy: used to control chronic edema from trauma or venous insufficiency via specialty bandages and garments.
