Welcome, and thank you for choosing our hospital. Your experience with us should be as comfortable as possible. Your patient care team is dedicated to compassionately and safely caring for you before, during, and after your stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know so that we can explain everything, answer your questions, and - most importantly - listen to your concerns. We will give you the information you need in advance of your stay — what you can expect, and what you should do to prepare.
Prescriptions Please use your neighborhood pharmacy to fill your prescriptions upon discharge from the hospital. There are several pharmacies nearby that are open 24 hours a day.
Post-Discharge InstructionsOur case managers plan your home care as well as arrange for medical equipment and any other services you might need when you go home. On the day you leave:
- Your doctor will write an order for you to go home.
- Your care team will review discharge information with you. You will be given written instructions.
- Valuables and personal belongings that you stored with us will be returned to you.
- Please arrange for a ride home in advance. When you are ready to leave, a member of the hospital staff or a volunteer will bring you to the main entrance and make sure that your ride is here.
